11/10/18 Pink Boots on the Ground sprung into action and we were able to see the purpose in our movement. There has finally been work done in the high traffic areas of our city. After 5 long years of H.B. 141 passing, we were told by shop owners, that just in the past week, someone had been putting up a similar poster !!! The poster that was being disseminated had a Fulton county insignia on it.
The mission of the Power Panel is to give voice to those who had none, due to fear, intimidation and/or perceived lack of support. As responsible, productive, progressive and restored women, brought together by a spiritual connection beyond our control, mended by shared experiences, cured by fire, vowing to “speak up, to break-ground, break-chains and turn pain into power. Our Goal is to assist in re-building lives through the strength of our voices and the power of our actions.
As result of having overcome and “over-won” the past demons and the trauma of many horrific and unconscionable acts, these women are now champions of some of the most challenging and hardcore issues plaguing contemporary society today. Endeavoring to shed light on issues such as domestic violence, sexual abuse, mental illness, disease and human trafficking, THE POWER-PANEL will move strategically with PURPOSE, PLANNING, PRAYER and PRESENCE to destroy these works of evil.
The Co-founders, Creators, Consultants and Panelists have covenanted to use their voices as instruments of life-changing, ground-breaking, yoke-destroying tools to build strong foundations, forge shared experiences and to create opportunities for women all over the world to share their stories and free themselves from bondage on every level – BODY, SOUL and SPIRIT.
Shed light on a plethora of issues facing our society today as it effects women and children. Specifically, but not limited to; domestic violence, sexual abuse, hidden and mental illness, disease and human trafficking.
Founded in 2018, a group of survivors, champions of many hard to discuss social challenges, debilitating, horrifying, traumatic and often unthinkable acts, who have not only overcome but over-won their past demons aligned themselves. In an effort to use their voices and shared experiences as a vehicle to change lives, to start the process of building strong foundations, create opportunities for women all over the world to share their stories and free themselves from bondage.
Atlanta. GA is the Hub for the sex trade in the United States of America. It is also home for the co-founders of the Power Panel. So, it only made sense to begin there.
The Power Panel believes wholeheartedly that “The release is in the telling.” What is no longer a secret, can no longer cause pain. The panel is only as strong as each of its members. We strive to create a FOCUSED-PHASED approach. Focus- to have a central point, to pay close attention to an activity or task. Phase-a stage in a process of change or development. Combining the two describes our approach to greatness for every woman that we encounter, paying close attention to the barriers that have prevented them from becoming their best selves and giving them the tools step by step for the change to take place in their lives.
Ultimately, becoming a powerful force. Bonded by shared experiences, attacking a common enemy- Human Trafficking!
